Meet the Owner

Barbara Wolf

I’m Barbara Wolf, the owner of Maid in Brasil. I was born and raised in Brazil, moved to the US with my parents not long before I turned 15 years old and that is when I started growing interest for cleaning. I started out by working for other companies but something didn’t feel right. I often got called out for “prettying things up” or being too much of a perfectionist. I was always having to rush through jobs to please the manager and meet their budgeting for each job so they could make the most profit… and one day I decided to leave all of that behind to open up my own company. The company that cares, that takes their time to make sure the standards are met. Our passion is for cleaning as well as it is for helping people. Hearing from exhausted working parents that we saved their weekend, that we took a huge weight off their shoulder or that they can now spend time with their kids is what keeps us going.
